Rockford Social Media News-Announcing Ladies In Professional Power

Rockford Social Media News-

Not too long ago, couple of weeks maybe, I got a very pleasant and polite request to recommend someone who might want to speak to a-just-getting-off-the-ground woman’s networking group about social media.   Of course I volunteered myself, and after several more Facebook notes, since I am quicker to respond there than I am to my cell phone, I got to meet Tammy Livingston and Daisy Botti, two of the founders of Ladies in Professional Power, the group just starting.

I was rather amazed at what the founders of the group had already accomplished, including a schedule of educational  events for the year, and a rapidly forming commitment to mentoring younger women.    In fact, Ms. Livingston indicated on a couple of occasions during our meeting that I should be doing some classes on Social Media, which is something that I am working on right now.

So the kickoff event for Ladies in Professional Power (LIPP) is April 6th.   Here is an excerpt from their Facebook page;

“Join this new women’s network group that is truly open to your needs to help you grow on both a personal and business level. Even with more women become entrepreneurs today, Women are still afraid to make money, we have got to change that mindset. When women make money…they turn around and help others do the same. They look for ways to make a difference in the world. That’s why we’ve got to continue to help women become successful.
Are you someone who wants to inspire, connect, announce or promote your business? If you answered yes to that question , then you don’t want to miss out on this new exciting Women’s Networking Group L.I.P.P Ladies in Professional Power! Please be apart of the 80% of women that get it right the first time! After all it’s just YOUR business your Representing!”

The date for the kickoff is 4-6-11,  from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at  Lighthouse Corners, 2704 Broadway, Rockford, Il.

I have had the chance to meet with Tammy Livingston a couple of times since our initial meeting for some Social Media coaching.  She is very serious, with a blog started,  Facebook rolling, Youtube soon to be up, and a Twitter account built.   She has found time to build those social media tools even thought she is already busy with her own family and  business.  Wait to see her photo’s of a hoarders house that she cleaned, and you will understand what I mean.

If you come I will be the guy taking videos for the Youtube channel.   Remember, Ladies in Professional Power.
